Housing for students at RMIT is a free service provided by RMIT University to help RMIT students secure housing.

Housing for students at RMIT is provided free-of-charge to any person who would like to list available housing.

Housing for students at RMIT operates as an information exchange service only. RMIT University does not match students to housing offered within Housing for students at RMIT system nor does it guarantee that advertisers will find tenants as a result of using Housing for students at RMIT.

Properties that may be listed in Housing for students at RMIT are:

  • shared houses and apartments
  • vacant houses and apartments
  • rooms or vacant apartments in student apartment complexes
  • rooms in student hostels or rooming houses.

Homestay listings are not advertised on the Housing for students at RMIT system.

Future RMIT students are able to view listings in Housing for students at RMIT but are not given access to the housing provider’s contact details.

Current students are authenticated users (verified by their student login) and as such are permitted to view the provider’s recorded contact details.

Students must meet Housing for students at RMIT’s Terms and Conditions for students set by the University in order to use Housing for students at RMIT to search for vacancies.

Housing providers must meet Housing for students at RMIT’s Terms and Conditions for providers set by the University in order for their property to be advertised on Housing for students at RMIT. RMIT University reserves the right to refuse or withdraw a listing at any time due to a failure to meet Housing for students at RMIT’s Terms and Conditions.
